Both sippy lid and regular lid screw on to the cup and is easy to attach and remove. The spout of the sippy lid contains a silicone insert to help avoid spills and to regulate slower flow of drinking. This can also be removed for a faster flow. 
 
The body of the cup is made of food grade BPA free stainless steel. It is vacuum sealed and double wall insulated in order to keep hot or cold drinks at temperature for 6-12 hours. Please note that this is a thermal cup that will keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours, and hot drinks hot for up to 6 hours. For safety reasons please ensure when serving hot drinks that they are at a drinkable temperature when served as they will remain at this temperature for some time.
